The Intex 15ft X 48in Metal Frame Pool Set is one of Intex’s top rated metal frame above ground pool sets. It’s one of the best you can buy for the cost. I’ve personally had one of these pools when my kids were smaller and it was perfect.

Held up very well and was super easy to set up. It’s true these pool look cheap and that makes one wonder if it’s worth it. Well if you are on a budget and looking to get the most for your money at this price range this is the pool to get.

With this Intex Above Ground Pool you get their triple strong, super tough laminated sidewalls. The metal frame with a support band to help hold the legs in place. That band really helps a lot especially when setting the pool up and afterwards when filling the pool up with water. The support band helps prevent the lets from moving outwards when the water starts to put pressure against them.

As for a filter pump a Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter pump that moves 1,000 gph is included. The filter cartridges can last from a week to 3 weeks depending on where you live. We usually hosed them off with a water hose every few days and changed them out when they got too dirty. The filters are Type A or C Filter Cartridge and can be found at your local Wal-mart but Amazon is normally half the price.
